If you truly have a passion for teaching and running the day-to-day operations at a golf club doesn’t seem like your long-term career path, then GOLFTEC provides you an opportunity to help you go from being a good instructor to a great one.

You may be sceptical but GOLFTEC has grown into the biggest instructional company in the world because it produces results for its students. They do that investing in their golf coaches with great tools and training. They use the 30+ years of data collection to assist coaches in knowing what to address, and where to assist all types of golf swings. They pay to send you to Denver Colorado when you first start to learn the technology and then another follow-up after your first month coaching students. They don’t tell you how to teach, they provide information that no other company can offer to help you as a coach.

Founded in 1995, GOLFTEC has since evolved into the world's largest provider of golf lessons and premium club fittings, boasting a network of over 250 centers across the globe.

So again, if you know your passion is to help golfers get better, this might be a career choice for you. Currently GOLFTEC Canada employs 75 PGA members at their 22 locations. However with that many locations, there is typically a facility or two that needs and additional coach to keep up with strong student demand for golf instruction.

What it offers

Annual Compensation is anticipated for coaches range from $50,000 - $80,000. Compensation components include an annual salary, plus monthly commissions. Commissions are paid on total lessons & club sales. The role offers an excellent work environment, training and development, a comprehensive health and dental program, paid PGA of Canada Dues, and Staff Equipment.

GOLFTEC values a work-life balance. One core benefit not always consistent in the golf industry is that everyone in GOLFTEC enjoys a 5-day work week with consistent days of the week off.

As part of the training - GOLFTEC will send new hires on a comprehensive all expenses paid trip to Denver Colorado. They support continuing education and tournament allowance and annually they give top performers a trip to a destination to show their support of the team success.

GOLFTEC will also assist in coordinating Staff Equipment opportunities.
