EnvoyGolf Placements

Finding Seasonal Employment this winter for Canadian Grounds Staff in Australia and New Zealand during their Summers

Watch the EnvoyGolf Video for more information about the program.  If you like to travel and want to turn your seasonal job into a year long profession, consider spending your winters in Australia or New Zealand.

Fresh Golf is pleased to announce that it will be assisting Australia's EnvoyGolf in finding Seasonal Grounds Crew to work at some of the premier golf clubs in Australia and New Zealand this winter.  Positions will be available from the fall of 2022 through spring of 2023.

This project is endorsed by the Canadian Golf Superintendents Association and National Golf Course Owners Association

Love to Travel and want to stay employed year round in the Golf Industry?  Find out more!

Is the program for you?  See if you tick off a few of the boxes below.

  • Are you 35 or younger?
  • Are you working on a Grounds Crew and may be seasonally laid off this fall?

  • Do you want to enjoy a second summer during our winter?

  • Do you love to travel?

  • Want to work at one of Australia's best golf clubs?

  • Do you want to learn new skills?

  • Do you want to stay in the Golf Industry but hate the seasonality of the role?

  • Do you have a passport through 2023?

FG pictures an ideal candidate (but not limiting to this) as one that is 2-5 years in the industry who is seasonally laid off due to seniority.  This opportunity will allow you to grow your skill set without the need to find winter employment in another industry.

FG's involvement is to assist EnvoyGolf by selecting pre-qualified candidates to be considered for placement.

-Testimonial from - Iain Collins, Irish candidate, 2019/2020 summer

"I was placed by EnvoyGolf to work at the Australian Golf Club for 5 months. EnvoyGolf smoothly facilitated my placement and I was warmly welcomed at The Australian Golf Club. While working there as a casual, I was treated as part of the team and attended the staff Christmas party.

I was trained in several tasks and my days were never boring, with a good variety of jobs. I was frequently given feedback and I always received constant contact from EnvoyGolf to check on my progress. There was a great team environment working at The Australian Golf Club, and I would recommend it to anyone."
