Special Recruitment Announcement - Ashburn Golf Club selects Mat Hamilton as their new Superintendent. Fresh Golf Solutions was pleased to assist Gordie Smith and the Club in their search.

Here is the release to the members of Ashburn -

After an extensive search and several exceptional interviews, Ashburn is excited to introduce Mathew ("Mat") Hamilton as the new Superintendent at the New Course. Most recently working as the Associate Superintendent at the world-renowned Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club in Vancouver B.C, Mat returns home to the east coast where he first began his journey working at Glen Arbour GC.

"I am extremely excited to be joining the team at Ashburn Golf Club. Having grown up in the area, I know the weight the Ashburn name holds in the industry throughout the Atlantic region. I can’t wait to be apart of what the future of the club has in store. Leaving such an amazing team at Shaughnessy is going to be very tough. I am truly grateful for the time I’ve spent here. It’s been an incredible learning experience that has prepared me for the new responsibilities ahead at Ashburn."

We are looking forward to having Mat officially join the team on June 5th. We know Mat will be a great fit for the New Course and will bring extensive experience with him.
