The Mount Doug Golf Course is a family owned 9-hole executive golf course located in beautiful Victoria, BC.
The course seeks a Superintendent to be its next Golf Course Operations leader. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to finish their career and create roots on the Island or an individual who loves the Superintendent career, but would prefer to lead a small close knit team.
The Facility: Built in 1971 by the Lovett Family, the course has been a favourite course for Victoria locals for decades. Whether it was a course for those learning the game or place for someone who enjoys a quick 9 holes, Mt. Doug offers using pretty much every club in their bag.
The Lovett family still own and operate the course today and have had many long serving staff. Their goal is to find another individual who will maintain and improve the golf course conditioning for many years to come.

Why Mt. Doug:
Lifestyle - Victoria is known as the ideal climate of all of Canada. With moderate temperatures 12 months of the year, you can enjoy the outdoors 365 days a year.
Role - The course closes for approximately 3 months per year to make course improvements and this role offers the ability to enjoy your free time with limited demands for weekend and evening work or requiring more than 5 days a week
Ideally this would be an excellent fit for a mature Superintendent (or past Assistant) who is searching for their final chapter of their career. Or an individual who enjoys the life as a Superintendent, but not willing to sacrifice the time and stress of running a 20+ person crew. Mt. Doug GC has a team of 5 individuals to maintain the lush 40 acres of golf course.
